The Library of the Institute of Philosophy ensures and provides complex public library and information services, including:
The Library provides take-out and in-house loans of library documents through the Aleph automated library system in accordance with the Rules and Regulations of the Library. Publications that are not in the Library collection can be made available to registered users through domestic inter-library (MVS) and international inter-library loan services (MMVS). Institute of Philosophy Library provides interlibrary loan services to all libraries in the Czech Republic.

The Library searches, collects and makes available significant electronic information resources focusing on philosophy and related disciplines (licensed as well as freely accessible resources).
Institute of Philosophy employees make reservation of the library club (the room behind the study room) for meetings and seminars (in person, by phone, or by email). The manner, scope, and rules for using the club are specified in Appendix No. 3 of the Library Rules and Regulations.
